And while we're thinking about the NRA...

Here's another way of thinking about their suggestion:

We reduced drunk driving accidents without a total ban on alcohol.
Then again, we didn't think more alcohol was the solution to drunk driving.

Of course we reduced drunk driving accidents by drinking until we pass out.
