Looking for a role model?
Arthur Miller was an American writer who stood up to the very inappropriately named House of Representatives' Un-American Activities Committee, the same fucks who hunted phantom commies back in the '50s and are the basic template for conservative politicians assaults on civil rights today.
Sixty-five years ago todayMiller was found guilty of contempt for refusing to cooperate with the ironically fascist committee. This was later overturned, but in refusing to cooperate with the illegal and terribly abusive committee he risked everything standing up against a rogue arm of the government to protect the rights citizens of the United States are supposed to have.
And did we mention he was married for a while to Marilyn Monroe?
Exactly! Role model.
