Really?

The "Adoption Community" is up in arms about Thor's joke in The Avengers about Loki being adopted?

How about spending a little time working on your self-esteem.  Self-esteem doesn't mean you get hire lawyers to hurt the people who unintentionally hurt you.  It's about understanding context and the fact that you really shouldn't cry over the way fictional characters act.

And guess what?  Loki is adopted, maladjusted, because he's an Ice Giant by birth and really can't help the fact that as the mythological embodiment of tricksterism and pranks he's going to get other "family members" into trouble every now and then. Like starting Ragnarok or working up a group of warriors to kill his father.

So, really not a fine sample of the adoption community.
