It baffles us...
Why anyone would want to be a conservative.
They're no fun at parties. And they deride those who are.
They don't pick up the check, and when it's split up they don't want to tip correctly.
They typically can't deal with complex philosophical arguments that contain the phrase "public good."
We view conservatives as a group of people banded together to convince each other it's fine to be selfish.
Face it, conservative party is an oxymoron.
Of course, we could be wrong here. There are probably plenty of fine conservatives who are fun at parties, pay their fair share, and do charity work. There are probably unicorns and leprechauns somewhere too, we just haven't run into any of them either. |
