Twenty Years Ago Today...
The first web site was hosted at CERN, running on a NeXT computer.
What's cool about that is that these days, you have to explain to just about anyone what a NeXT computer was. And you get to tell people it was the company Steve Jobs formed on his own, you know, without Woz, and it failed.
Then you start to look for the first use of the World Wide Web for transporting porn. They won't tell you this in the article, but it was about 15 minutes later...
