Sometimes sense prevails...

Apple's revisionist history as to the invention of computing and all terms therein was struck a serious blow this week as they were denied exclusive rights to the term "App Store." 

While we can appreciate all the thought and innovation that the Cupertino Fruit Company put into the development and testing of the term (for so long they were going with Application Acquisition Location, narrow miss that!) we have to say it's comforting to know that some bits of language don't fall into the ownership domain of large corporations.

We're opening our App Store soon, well, soon for us.  Which means maybe never.  But trust us, it's going to be awesome. There's an app for that takes on a whole new meaning.
