Memorial...
It's to the grunts, the guy next door, the one with the call, the one with the bad lottery number, the one who simply had no other place to go. And yet, they served. They served whether the bigger call was just or not, and while we might disrespect them as tools, as agents or as robotic servers, we must accept that without their kind we would live in a very different world. Not necessarily more peaceful. Not better for certain.
So we remember, the good and the bad, but mostly we remember such that were we ever in similar circumstances, we might stand.
