So it was a prank after all...
Funny story about a woman whose daughter downloaded the 10 billionth application from the Apple iTunes Store. She hung up on the congratulatory call because it sounded like a prank call.
Finally she was convinced by a call from an Apple executive to explain the situation.
The second prank here: the $10,000 gift card award can only be used at the Apple iTunes Store.
Guess what all her friends are getting for Christmas, and their birthdays... and wedding anniversaries...
