Your tax dollars...

At work.  Federal prosecutors, who couldn't make the case for Barry Bonds actually using illegal steroids, are now going after him for lying about it.

Funny, like they'll do better there.

And funnier still, that during an economic down turn, we have political appointees who run rabid after things like this, things that just don't matter, spending millions of dollars, 50 million so far with millions still to come, chasing this ridiculous issue.

Sure, it's against the law to lie to the grand jury.  But it's certainly a more heinous crime to have made this such an issue with such a low payout and high cost to the American taxpayers.

Where is the Tea Party now?  Maybe if Bonds were gay...
