Did the day live forever in infamy?
December 7th the Empire of Japan blew Pearl Harbor up. The next day, President Franklin D. Roosevelt delivered a speech declaring war and noting that the 7th was "a date which will live in infamy."
Of course he couldn't foresee a future where the US rebuilt a nuked Japan such that it again became a world power, a trade partner, and the home of Nintendo. Simply outside of anything he could have guessed.
So, still infamous? Maybe not. Time and money heal all wounds. Except where Sony and that rootkit thing are concerned... we'll never forgive, never forget...
