The Truth Hurts
We're happy to hear that it's not necessarily a given that an effective advertising campaign is a good basis for a lawsuit by the disparaged competitor. After the Verizon "There's a Map for that" ads, AT&T dug deep into it's competitive trove and brought forth... lawyers. Of course that's a great move for AT&T customers - instead of improving service, spend money on quieting the competition.
However, Verizon isn't laying down and curling up in a ball for this. Their legal response concludes with
We're sure there's an app for that too.
And that commercial featuring the misfit toys was brilliant too. |
