And a tad ADD...

At last this national tragedy is over.

Sarah Palin has accepted David Letterman's third apology for her misunderstanding his joke.

In a rambling statement, reminiscent of her non-answers during the vice-presidential debates, Sarah managed to wedge in random comments about the military...

Of course it's accepted on behalf of young women, like my daughters, who hope men who 'joke' about public displays of sexual exploitation of girls will soon evolve.

Letterman certainly has the right to 'joke' about whatever he wants to, and thankfully we have the right to express our reaction. And this is all thanks to our U.S. military women and men putting their lives on the line for us to secure America's right to free speech - in this case, may that right be used to promote equality and respect.

OK, fine, whatever soccer mom.  Can you go back to the great white North, shooting animals from your helicopter and building bridges to nowhere, redefining family values to include your so twisted personal implementation, so the rest of us can begin to pretend you were just a bad short season on "I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!"
