Trek...
The remake is rarely better than the original. And we're not going to say this is better. There's far too much history with the original to have that all simply overturned by one movie.
However, we're fans of the reboot. Two trips to the theatre already, and we're scoping out the local IMAX venues for the third.
Sure there are plot holes you can drive a starship through, but hell, it wouldn't be Star Trek without that.
