Dude, it isn't even high enough for an F...

He gets a 22%. Bush's approval rating for performance over the last eight years. And you really have to spread credit for that out over a lot of people.  After all, without support there would have been some kind of impeachment or other legal action against him.

The short list?  Well, we have to credit:

• the Republican controlled congress, strong until 2006

• Dick Cheney, capable of dark acts and badness in support of creating the world's largest crop of fear and stupidity

• Karl Rove, the dark feral brains of the operation

• Pundits like Fox news and especially double-talking reality benders like Anne Coulter and Sean Hannity, convincing many brain-dead red staters to embrace their darkest prejudices as rational, or even righteous.

Face it folks, like some feudal inbred European idiot prince, Bush couldn't have done it himself.  Without the help of the above Bush, and our nation, would not be where we are today. 

There's your legacy F.  And he cheated to get it.
