We're going to the recent shouts for a few days... here's the first:
From St. Steve: A little recomended reading for the Misters E, Watchmen by Alan Moore and David Gibbons. As ive read its a pretty famous comic series, and managed to win a hugo award. Theres a good chance you already read it, but in case you didnt... well to put it plainly it Roxorz. Its like an incredible crafted novel only it looks good. Some deeply profound stuff too. Favorite quote so far "Blake is interesting. I have never met anyone so deliberately amoral. He suits the climate here. The madness, the pointless butchery. As i come to understand Vietnam and what it implies about the human condition, i also realize that few humans will permit themselves such an understanding. Blake's different. He understands perfectly... and doesnt care". More interesting than a real life match of republican roller derby to the death. Well maybe not. -St. Steve
