President's Day...
Banks, libraries, and post offices are closed. Some schools have the whole week off, but for the most part Joe and Jane working stiff just toil away as the unrecognized backbone of the economy that they are.
Do you suppose Bush thinks it's a "day of rest" for him too?
And if he did, would we notice?
