Have to admit...

When someone gets the best of Jon Stewart, they've got to have something going for them.

Last night Lynne Cheney, wife of Dick Cheney, appeared on the Daily Show.  And pretty much kicked Jon's little girl ass.  Jon seemed too occupied with not offending Lynne by continuing his relentless, and very justified, vilification of her husband.  This allowed Lynne to one up him left and right. 

During the course of the interview, she...

• Presented Jon with a Darth Vader doll, exposing an amazing sense of humor for someone who claims to have never seen the show (um, yeah, sure.)
• Got a joke in about how her husband was just like any other guy coming home, including the bit about occasionally biting a head off a chicken.
• Pushed her own book.
• Made some really open minded (for her party) statements about accepting homosexuals.
• Got a number of fair hits in about the reactions of America to terrorist attacks (the give and take here was pretty even, Jon seemed to be waking from his "don't offend the little lady" trance at this point.)

All in all, and it hurts to say this, Points for Cheney.  It's really too bad she isn't the vice president.
