Consumer Alert

The new Flash Gordon series on SciFi officially sucks.

They basically rewrote the show's premise so that they could:

• Have most of the stories on Earth, not requiring set construction.

• Shoot the Mongo scenes in a forest with a pink gel over the camera lens. 

• Avoid paying Queen for the music except in a few commercials (no residual rights!)

Now we like lots of stuff on SciFi, but this rates right up there with Mansquito.
