Lobby...

Government by the people, for the people... but such a simple concept so long lost.

News today that the Senate is sending a measure to limit lobbying and pet-project spending.

The problem here is that government is about elected representatives of the people, not fucking business and special interest groups.  What is so hard about understanding that any acceptance of lobbyists is a slap in the face to our general democratic rule.  We end up with the rule of money, the power brokers who make your vote worthless.

You want new legislation on lobbyists?  How about a bag limit and only allowing seasonal hunts?  That's a good start.
