Hoo Ray for Canada!
Everyone knows that Canada's health system rocks. Sure, Canadians themselves complain about it, but for the bulk of folks who fear the loss of overpriced American services, the system is looked upon with envy; a dream date.
And while we're on the subject of dream dates, let's look at a little (big?) improvement that just made it into the Canadian health system.
Silicon breast implants.
OK, we exaggerate. Nobody is getting these things for free, at least not simply for entertainment purposes. The endorsement here is just an acceptance that, properly administered, they're a safe augmentation for the body.
We do love one quote though, which is why we led you down this little bit of misdirection. From associate director-general of the therapeutic products directorate for Health Canada:
"I think it's safe to say that these medical devices are the most intensively studied medical devices in medical history."
Yeah, we'd have to strongly agree. Men all over the world have been closely studying them for years...
