Explosive Iraq
Three hundred and fifty TONS of explosive looted in Iraq? Pardon us while we scratch our heads for a moment. 350 TONS?
So we guess the scenario went like this.
Guard: Hello
Thief: Hello, I was wondering... hey! Look over there! (Points at empty desert.)
Guard: Where? (Continues to stare at desert for an hour while trucks roll up and tote away explosives.)
And the quotes!
We do not know what happened to the explosives or when they were looted - Melissa Fleming said the Iraqi Ministry of Science and Technology.
Huh, we have some idea what's happened to the explosives, they've been exploding stuff with them. Check the papers Melissa!
Actually they've been missing for two weeks, but the International Atomic Energy Agency chief Mohamed ElBaradei was hoping to give them time to find the explosives.
Yeah, you wouldn't want to give anyone fair warning or anything.
Some wonder whether the missing explosives are now being used in insurgent attacks against the forces of the U.S.-led coalition...
Nah, everyone's probably using them to celebrate their freedom and new found democracy with really big firecrackers.
