The War President Can't Win...
We sit in shock at this latest quote from W on the war on Terrorism:
I don't think you can win it. But I think you can create conditions so that those who use terror as a tool are less acceptable in parts of the world.

OK, so that means we need some diplomatic power to negotiate with our allies and those who aren't quite allies, right? OOPS! We've screwed the pooch there! Thanks to our up yours we're invading attitude we're about as diplomatically valid now as Cheney is cuddly.
So by create conditions the War President means attack parts of the world to make terror less of a tool. And his goal isn't to win, it's just to reduce terror's acceptability! Wow, Mission Accomplished Dude! He's just redefined "winning this war!" Totally adopted the slacker ethic here; commit to nothing that can be accurately measured.
Yeah, we can see him invading all over Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa on a campaign to reduce terror. Not like we're using our national budget for anything else.
