W spoke to military personnel in Tampa noting that "thugs'' seek(ing) to derail the transfer of sovereignty" were active in Iraq. But apparently he's planning on doing something about it.
Wow, do you think he means it? It would be a tremendous turn-about for him to take on Halliburton like that. They're entrenched now and busy milking this thing for all it's worth...
| And as evidence of his administration's playing hardball with Cheney's company, an investigation recently discovered that One Billion dollars had been over charged in Iraq war and rebuilding costs. Of course, that's out of 60 Billion, so this appears to be a token STFU effort. |
