Cult vs. Girl Scouts
Another Waco Texas cult is in the news. This time mixing it up with... get this... the Girl Scouts. The Bluebonnet Council of Girl Scouts apparently has a casual association with Planned Parenthood. This apparently rattled Pro-Life Waco morons whose call to arms was an announced boycott those evil Thin Mint and Caramel deLite cookies.
"I encourage you to join me in abstaining from Girl Scout cookies," John Pisciotta, director of Pro-Life Waco and an associate professor of economics at Baylor University, has been saying for two weeks in public-service announcements running around the clock on KBDE/89.9.
It's always about abstinence with these jerks, right?
The upshot, well apparently there's hope for thinking people in Texas after all. The Girl Scouts are predicting above average sales due to the added notoriety. Drop in sales and calls indicate record sales.
There's good reason the town is named Waco.
